We are partnering with a global industry leader in rail & transport based in Rydalmere. Operating from an elite maintenance facility, they are looking for a proven Service Technician to join their expert team.

Location: Rydalmere, NSW
Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour + Penalty Rates + Super
Work Type: Early Day Shift | 5:00 am – 6:30 am starts
Position Type: Immediate Start – Ongoing position with a views to Permanency
Hands-on overhaul, repair, & precision testing of critical rail & transport components.
Refurbish & test high-tech equipment including air compressors, brake calipers, & pantographs.
Utilise mechanical expertise to ensure all products meet strict safety & performance standards.
Maintain high standards of accuracy when recording test outcomes & signing off engineering documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Mechanical Trade certificate, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent is essential.
At least 3 years in a workshop or engineering environment focusing on mechanical component repair & testing.
Strong knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems (experience with air compressors or Rollingstock/Light Automotive is highly regarded).
A valid OH&S White Card, plus the ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including Drug & Alcohol screening) & a Police Check.
A valid LF Forklift Licence or Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card is highly advantageous.
